I have been doing some digging around the forums and have found some answers, but as all setups/ future plans are diffrent i would like to ask for an opinion for my own specific rig.

Currently running:
Gtx 750 ti (gpu)
Amd fx-6300 3.5ghz (cpu)
8gb of ram (2x4)
Corsair 650w psu
M5A78L usb3 (mobo).

The idea would be to change the 750 TI into 1060 3gb. Currently not able to afford changing the mobo/cpu. And while i am aware the CPU will bottleneck the GPU to some degree, i cant find a reasonable answer; by how much. Would it be recommended to upgrade from here with this plan?

Would be hoping to reach ultra/high on stable 45-60 fps on 1080p, on titles such as:

Battlefield 4
Fallout 4
Borderlands 2
Planetside 2 (prolly more on the med-high).

All comments and help is apperciated, thank's in advance!

Then you should be fine. If you wanted a large fps increase by not going higher on settings then you would most likely see the limitations of your cpu

I have an 8320 and a GTX 1060 3GB. You'll definitely get quite a bit of bottleneck on CPU intensive games such as BF1 or GTA V but on most non CPU intesnsive games, you should experience little to no bottlenecking :)
