One 1080p monitor 144hz and one 60hz or one 1440p 144hz monitor

I have a real crappy old monitor that isn't even 1080p and I'm looking to buy another one or maybe two. Do you think I should just buy one 1440p 144hz, like the Acer Predator XB271HU or the AG271QX or should i go with two, one 144hz tn panel and one ips panel 60hz. I could even go for a 24 inch 1440p monitor 144hz but i've heard they resolution is not very useful in such a size, and I could still go with the second monitor.

By The way I have an Evga 1070 SC (OC) and an i5-8600k 4.9GHz
