one display, two desktop computer

I have only one display, but I will have two desktop PC soon.
What is the device to connect the display to two PC so that I will not have to plug and unplug the cable each time switching from one PC to another

If the display has multiple inputs then just plug (for example) one into DVI and 1 into HDMI and use the input button. Otherwise we need to know the connection type to suggest a switch.

Does your monitor support mutliple inputs, depending on its age of course but most modern monitor can have dvi, vga, hdmi or display. Failing that you can buy a DVI switch usually called a KVM switch so you switch Video, Keyboard and mouse at the same time if they are all cabled
