its' not in the recycle bin? how did it get deleted? look for a free recovery tool, there is lots of them and sometimes 1 can find something others can't, so hard to recommend one as I've sometimes had to use 3-4 different tools to get something back and sometimes it can't. The more your D drive is used, the more the chance that the data is overwritten.

I've had this happen just with a faulty mouse. Bad left mouse button, and it registered 'MouseUp' before I was ready.
