Intel Core i7-4790K Devil's Canyon Quad-Core 4.0 GHz (not overclocked)

Please tell me this is lying... My computer isn't hot at all...
Could I get someone to direct me to the best CPU cooler on the market (keep price a bit low please)

Edit: I opened up my computer, the air from my cpu isn't hot at all, not even warm, could this be wrong?

Solution

For a non-OC system, the stock cooler, properly installed, is fine.

This one appears, to me, to not be properly installed.
You need to take it...

Woops, didn't mean to set your reply as the answer. Any way I can undo that?

If I installed it wrong, wouldn't my computer have died ages ago? That's boiling point, I don't know.

I opened up my computer, felt the air coming from the fan, and it feels fine, not warm at all. If the temperatures were at boiling point, wouldn't I feel some warmth? It's the stock cooler, I was told that just using the stock cooler that came with it would be fine, I don't have it overclocked or anything either. Do I need to re-apply the thermal paste?

You can pick this as the answer, im sure it will help.

Get the Hyper 212 Evo cooler its 25-30 bucks and easy to install youtube it.

Secondly, you can check your CPU voltage in the BIOS set it to around 1.05 that will keep the temp down in the meantime. Also if you are running prime or something to get these temps, refrain from running them until you follow these steps.

You need to take it off, clean the paste and reapply, and then reinstall it. Properly.

Should I take out my motherboard to re-push-in the pins? Would that be necessary, or can I just do it and not have to disassemble my computer?

However it was installed the first time...you need to take it apart and install that properly.

Ok, thank you so much, I'll do that as soon as possible, though I am going to purchase a new fan just in case.

Unselected the best answer since it was completely incorrect. Buying an aftermarket cooler for a stock speed CPU is a complete waste of the money when the stock heatsink is all that's necessary when it's installed correctly. And undervolting the CPU?? Really??
