Hello. I probably do not know the proper way to use google, but I cannot seem to find an answer for this. I have 3 laptops and couple of phones and all of them connect to 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi perfectly, EXCEPT one laptop only sees 5GHz network and doesn't see 2.4GHz at all. I have no clue what is going on. I tried to reset the network card (reinstalling drivers) and no help. Once it did the job, but once I connected to a different Wi-Fi outside my house - gone again.

If it helps, the laptop is Acer Aspire E15 E5-575G-55D4.
Router - D-Link DIR-825.

I am lost, please help.

I also have had problems with laptop connections, it is possible the router and the built-in wifi adapter on the laptop has some type of conflict - apparently it is quite common. You can try to replace the internal wifi adapter on the laptop to resolve, however it's more economical to use a cheap wifi adapter like this AC600 usb adapter which is under $10 and see if that can work.

Alternatively, you can replace the router with a new one and see if that resolves the problem - the TP-Link C1200 is also on sale for $40 - would effectively double your current N600 router's wifi capacity, and give you more range on both the 2.4ghz and 5ghz at the same time. This may be the better bet!
