[SOLVED] One nut is missing x62 would it cause any issue?

Hello,


I have installed my x62 a week ago, one nut was missing i lost that nut, three nuts are installed, one is missing, first of all would it cause any problem?? Secondly where can i find these nuts, can you link to any store.

It could cause overheating but those nuts are nothing special, take one to a hardware store and let them find a nut with same thread and size even if it's just an ordinary hex nut.
PS, Its most probably metric.

With the solidity of that mounting system, then generally no it shouldn't be an issue unless it's the side that's taking all the torque pressure from the tubing.

That said, there's a very fine line between 'shouldn't' and 'won't', so it's in your best interests to be better safe than sorry.

Contact NZXT support, they'll be able to help, either send you a thumbscrew or give you the thread size so you can buy the correct thread nut/washer to DIY.

Or do as CountMike suggested and spend a few minutes testing a bolt in the specialty nut/bolt section. It's most likely either M3 or M4 thread or could be 6/32

There is no store that has them. Only NZXT. You do not need that exact thumbnut, it's a cosmetic detail. You can find a compatible nut for the thread at ANY hardware store, but if you insist on that exact thumbnut you will have to contact NZXT and you may be charged for a full installation kit as I seriously doubt they'll ship an individual nut. You might get lucky and they ship for free.

And please don't 'bump' threads, if everybody did that who didn't like/understand/get the answer or got impatient, there'd be no room for new threads to be answered.
