-PC INFO IS AT THE END-
Hey, so I've downgraded & upgraded multiple times from windows 7 to windows 10, although I'm not keen on windows 10, it's a good OS. It does give me A LOAD of problems, I've had quite a few in the past, blue screens, black screens, crashing, freezing, ram problems on windows 10 only, HDD problems, etc.
So, yesterday I came back from school and I started up my PC, a blue screen popped up, with the windows face saying it's found a problem, the problem was "NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM". So It restarted my PC 3 times in a row, and eventually it gave me a black screen. Then my buzzer starting making beeping noises. or ticking noises even, can't describe the sound.
I asked one of my PC building friends for help, so he told me to:
• Unplug the HDD, SATA & the power thing for the HDD, I did so.
• Reset the BIOS battery, I did so.
• Replace the ram sticks. Although I only replaced one, I took that ram stick out and the PC booted and it was fixing some HDD problems that occured. I then put back in the other RAM stick, and my PC worked again.
Funny, I came back today from school and the problem OCCURRED once again. So what I did, all i had to do was just take that ram stick out, and the PC booted up fine. (Bare in mind it didn't pop up with fixing any HDD stuff this time, it was just a black screen.)
My PC is a little bit dusty, although my thoughts on this are that the ram stick could either be dusty, the slot is dusty, or it's broken. I'm not sure. But I will try to replace the ram sticks in different slots to see if that does anything.
Does anybody have any thoughts on how to fix this? I'd be super glad if somebody told me how to fix this problem..
