One of the "basic" drivers COMPLETELY ruining the gameplay (csgo)

On a fresh install of windows, the only drivers I lack are these ones:

And when I play csgo, the game feels fantastic.

But then, even when I disable the automatic driver updates (System properties>Hardware>Device installation settings> No (don't automatically install drivers), I still get these drivers installed except the "PCI simple communications controller (I'm pretty sure it's Intel Management engine). So now it's like this: https://imgur.com/a/VZhAw

And now the game is horrible.

So the problem is caused by one of the drivers updating/installing:
1. Base system device
2. PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller
3. PCI Memory Controller
4. SM Bus Controller

But now these controllers have different names in Device Manager and I don't know which one could be the culprit.

Is there any software that monitors these drivers (and lets me delete them) OR a way to ABSOLUTELY DISABLE these drivers from updating?

have you been to msi to d/l the drivers? there are some new ones as of the 29th.
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z270-A-PRO#down-driver&Win10%2064

as geofelt said shutdown all windows updates, make a install point, and only update from the relevent website.

edit: that poor 660 is horribly bottlenecked.
edit 2: if you did the creators windows10 update these mobo updates maybe critical.

I've already tried installing the drivers through the MOBO page but it still killed the way the game felt. One of the most prominent symptoms is how the gun recoil feels. Funnily enough, I think the game is better without these drivers. I've just figured out which devices they are and I'm gonna try turning them off 1 by 1 and testing the game.

Base system device: https://imgur.com/a/WjuZp
As it turns out, it's the Intel Xeon Gaussian Mixture Model (no Idea what that even is)

PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller: https://imgur.com/a/1A9rS
This is the Intel 200 Series Chipset Family Thermal Subsystem

PCI Memory Controller: https://imgur.com/a/f17mG
Intel 200 Series Chipset Family PMC

last but not least, the SM Bus Controller: https://imgur.com/a/fvH6h
It's the Intel 200 Series Chipset Family SMBUS

Going to try turning these off one at a time and reporting back here.

edit: I only play CS:GO, and it's incredibly CPU-bound so I'm having a decent framerate (300+). Don't really need a better GPU if I play only this game.

Brother did you fix it? I uninstalled IMEI and SM Bus controller on the first try cause they were the only drivers that were present in accordance with yours. All the games i opened up after that felt so responsive and smooth. I was fragging lots and enemies were actually missing their shots instead of aimbotting me like before. But after a restart the issue came back. Thinking that IMEI and SM Bus were installed again, i found only SM Bus getting reinstalled. Now uninstalling it wont fix the issue :/
