[SOLVED] One of the front USB ports disconnects when several USB devices are plugged in ?

There are 3 front USB ports on my Desktop PC. A bluetooth dongle and a mouse-keyboard dongle are constantly plugged in. And sometimes I plug an HDD in to the 3rd port. So far there have been no problems while using bluetooth dongle, all 3 ports work without disconnecting while using bluetooth dongle.

However my mouse occasionally, and my HDD more often, stop working (disconnect) and I am pretty sure the problem is not because of the devices. Yesterday I plugged a genuine PS3 controller in to these ports and a yellow warning appeared that says the "USB device not recognised", only the rightmost port is able to make the wired connection. According to information I heard in the past, the only thing that comes to my mind is that the front USB ports usually not getting enough power. What do you think?

Have you tried plugging all into rear motherboard ports?.
Try some low power usb devices at the same time in the front ports, such as usb sticks. They will consume more power when reading/writing, but you can check if they are all working and stable. Bluetooth and mouse/keyboard are constantly communicating, where memory sticks are lower consumption.

My PC is in a wooden closet and only its front area is open. I only tried front ports because it's closer to the devices and I thought it will block the signals if I use the rear ports. However, there is no problem when using the mouse and the bluetooth on the rear ports. Also HDD works great. No issues. So, I should use the more efficient rear ports with my devices. And I learned that the wooden material does not block the signals. :D
I plugged 3 usb sticks to the front ports at the same time. Then copied one gb file to each of them at the same time. No disconnect issue. So, I will only use the front ports for the USB sticks.
You deserved to be the solution. Thanks.
