I recently built my first PC using a Corsair 4000D case, with a Corsair RMx850 PSU and a MSI SUPRIM X RTX 3070.

Am currently running one single 8 pin PCIe from PSU which has a split double 6+2 pin into GPU.

Does it give better performance to use two seperate cables?

Solution
It's totally fine to use only 1 PCIe cable in your case especially when you have a good PSU model.

You won't have any performance increase using 2 cables.

I saw a video from JayZTwoCents a while back debating this very issue, and have seen a lot of people saying they are getting stable overclocks at as much as 25 Mhz extra when using high end GPU’s. What’s your take on this? If that is the case, I’m considering doing it
