Hi guys,

(My PC Specs are at the bottom of this post)

Recently I have been lagging (fps wise) on games due to a hardware fault on my system somewhere. I have been trying to work out which part is causing the problem but I am having no luck whatsoever. I deduced that my problem was my hard drive eventually due to it making clunking sounds and crashing/freezing my computer multiple times. I have now replaced this and re-installed Windows. The first day after I installed it none of my games had any trouble running on the settings I was used to running them on before the lag occurred. However, as I went to load up a game today (Counter Strike: GO) the lag returned 🙁. I think this confirms that it is a hardware issue because of the fresh install of Windows and drivers, and of course the new hard drive, that rules that out. Please help me if you have any suggestions... 🙁

Go tothe cmd prompt and type chksdk /f /r . Then sit back and relax for couple of hours or the whole day ehile your system checks your hdd for any bad sectors and will try to fix it.
