Question One RAM stick is detected, one isn’t, but shows 32 GB committed RAM?

Hi there! I’m needing some help with my new ram kit, the Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 2x16 GB kit. I bought it today and installed it in my GA-AB350 Gaming 3 Motherboard. The problem I have is while that both sticks are lighting up, only one is linked to the color settings of iCue and the 16 GB is detected, while the second stick is flashing different colors and is not detected, but my Task Manager says 32 GB committed memory? I’m confused and could use some help with this. Thank you!

I am running BIOS version F31, and I have the two ram sticks (model number CMW32GX4M2C3200C16) in DIMM_1 and DIMM_3 which is dual channel, but the second ram stick is not showing up on DIMM_3 when I went into the BIOS.

Alright. I also ran the Windows Memory Diagnostic, but received no errors in the report.

If you swap positions of the RAM does the issue follow the stick, or stay to the slot?

I have not tried switching positions of the ram. Let me try.

BIG UPDATE

After swapping positions of the RAM and a PC reboot, both sticks work and the 32 GBs are detected!
