Hello!
My problem: When i have two screens physically connected to my PC the screens randomly lose signal for a few seconds then come back, this happens once every hour or so. very annoying!
this does not happen if i have only one screen physically connected to the pc.

I have a gaming monitor as my primary and secondary screen is a Projector or a 65" Led TV. i only use 2 screen at a time. all get the same problem.

things i have done:
-Clean install win10, no change, updated to Win11 no change.
-old gpu drivers no change, newest no change.
-power saving modes are off, no screen saver on or anything like that.
-g sync on and off no change
-updated to latest BIOS drivers, no change
-tested: clean/stable power in the outlet.
-tested two different rtx 3080s, same problem on both,
-tested new PSU no change.
-five different cables, fiber, hdmi, DP in various combinations to all screens. no change.

specs:
ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 3.7 GHz 70MB
G.Skill 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600MHz CL14 Ripjaws
Cooler Master NR200P
Cooler Master V850 SFX Gold (V 2,0 i think)
Msi RTX 3080 12gb
noictua/arctic fans
commander pro.

This is not a huge problem, but it feels like its getting worse by time, and im going crazy. its so annyoing, to loose signal in the middle of a movie or show, still hearing the sound in the background.

anyone? :(

Seems you've really did your homework and most are checked out.

However, I did a quick web search for "Msi RTX 3080 loose signal" and it seems you're not the only one with this issue.

Found an older post here at tom's where it seemingly was the PSU that caused the issue <link>. You've already mentioned trying a new PSU but not specify model and age of those.

Do you still have warranty of the GPU ?

Thanks for the relpy!
Ah yes, i saw that post too, but sadly it is not the same issue.

the new PSU i tested was a brand new: Seasonic Focus GX 750W. and i have warranty on everything still.
can add that my problem happens even if the PC is idle, so watt should not be a problem.

I'm thinking the problem must be , Motherboard, Memory, or CPU. or some software that persists throughout multiple wipes of my storage :/
