[SOLVED] One side of earbuds always quieter than the other

this problem has persisted across multiple devices. the only difference is the magnitude of the difference in volume. I have tried cleaning out the ports, yet this problem still continues. How do i fix this?

Alright, so I just figured out how to fix this problem for me, so I'll post the solution in case others need it: what I did was I took off the thin membrane things that cover the earbuds (not the eartips, they are the circular translucent fabric things) and I swapped them on each earbud. somehow, this solbed my problem.
