one slot of ram don't work

hello everyone!

i have 2 sticks of ram each 8gb (together 16gb)
i connected them to the motherboard. i turned on my pc everything work fine but is saw only 8gb connected i tried to switch them but again 8gb worked im putted out on stick and the pc work fine
but when i switched the stick to the second slot the pc was beeping 3 times
then i realized one slot of ram don't working
what i can do??

my rig:
i5 3450
2*8gb ram (1666 mhz)
motherboard: msi h61m-p31/w8 (ms-7788)
640 gt msi
550 watt psu

Pretty much what atomicWAR states before my post: a new motherboard if you want to use dual channel.

You could get a single stick of 16GB RAM to get around it, but the motherboard itself is effectively faulty. And with hardware faults it's either fix or replace; no software solution can fix an actual faulty piece of hardware.
Unless the motherboard is still within warranty or similar so you can have it replaced without charge, the options seem to be either having it repaired (if that's possible) or getting a new motherboard. From your own investigation it seems you've confirmed the RAM slot is faulty which is a hardware issue.

im 100% sure that my problem is my motherboard the ram sticks are okey.
so there is no solutions?
