One Stick Of Ram

and inside of the pc there is only one stick of ram which is 4gb; and I was wondering can i buy a 4gb stick of ram and stick it in there?

Take the stick out of the computer and read the sticker on the side of the RAM, that will tell you what you have to match (I believe that CPU-Z can do the same thing though)

What I want is a stick of ram which will go well with my first stick of ram inside which will do good and won't die for a good price, or a new pair of ram that is good for a affordable price
