I have a strict $500 CAD budget for a phone including tax. I'm completely stuck on what phone to get but I'm looking both at the OnePlus One and the Oppo Find 7.

The OnePlus One's cheaper and it looks good but the OnePlus Two is coming out in the fall but that's going to be an invite-only system and I just found the Find 7 recently but it's sorta old so I don't know if there's any newer phones out aaaaaaaaaah this is so stressful.

The OnePlus One is attractive to me because of the lower price and CyanogenMod. The Find 7 is attractive to me because of the 1440p screen and the MicroSD slot. I don't know which to choose over!

I'd appreciate help! Thanks!

First of all keep away from asamsung their product are kinda sucky if you except the note series and maybe the alpha, the s series is a joke after s3,so about oppo i have a friend who uses it and he always complains about overheating issues, for the one plus one i would say go for it,i have a nexus 5 and one plus one atm and i don't know go for it stay away from the overpriced flagships that actually don't make quality products with the exception of htc and of course apple, especially if we compare the cheap plastics that samsung offers and sell them for like 600 euros, one plus or oppo are not some kinda shitty phones,i would choose one plus because i use it and the battery lasts really good, the most vfm device.
These companies are new to begin with. Think about Samsung and Motorola. Much better quality control and customer service.I would never touch both companies period. Both China made.

Oops, didn't mean to select as best answer.

Now the actual reply.

No thanks. There's no way I'm paying $500 for a phone with last-generation specs. Not to mention I've heard many people say that customer support from OnePlus and Oppo are actually better than big corporations like Samsung's.

IOppo is a company that makes Blu- Ray players and just started to delve into the cell phone business.Samsung has excellent customer support and is on line to talk to from 9am-5pm 6days a week.Samsung has no last generation specs .They have great quality control.

I told you I'm not getting a Samsung phone when I can get a phone with the same specs, sometimes even better, for more than half the price. I've already settled on the Oppo Find 7, the non-removable battery on the OnePlus One ruins the deal for me.

Good Luck with customer service you will need it.

I keep selecting as best answer by accident -_-

I bet you've never dealt with any of these companies before. Just because a company is new doesn't mean they have bad custom service, how do you think Samsung started? They were new at one point.

It shocks me how one-sided you are. I never should have created this thread if all I would've gotten were non-helpful, biased responses.

Ok, thanks...but you're sure the non-removable battery won't be a problem?

You are seeing one way your way and no one else.Oppo is a China start up company just starting out no way like samsung, Motorola, or Apple.
