Uh...not quite joaompp. As the article mentions, it probably involves decreasing the space around the screen, thereby making their 5.5 inch phone the same size as a different 5 inch phone. However, the picture shown is cut off on the one side, so it would be possible that they're doing something funky with aspect ratio too...

Just so you know, if they keep a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 5.5 inch display would measure:4.79 inches long by2.70 inches talleasily fits in a 5 inch phone without physical buttons at the bottom of the screen.
