My friend ask what card is the best for online games like guild wars 2, diablo 3, eve online, aion in hiGher ghrapics setting.. 1920x1080.. Specs is i7 2500k, asrock z68, 8gb ram, psu corsair 500watts

I hope you could help my friend...

I would think the games listed do not take much of a gpu to run at considerably high graphics levels, as MMO based games are more playable at 30-40 fps compared to Shooters where fps is pretty much required. gpus between 130-260 can fit the need to different extents.

GTX 660/660ti. Games like that really don't require a lot of GPU power, but it would just be a shame to put something weaker in there with that kind of processor. And he won't need to upgrade his PSU for neither of the cards!

The best card you should get is the HD 7870.It's faster than a GTX 660, its more overclockable and it also costs less.

Or if you haven't got that much money but don't want to compromise performance at all then you should buy a GTX 480.

Beware though that if you overclock it or the CPU you're gonna need a better power supply.

Or you could also buy a HD 7850 which is a bit slower but uses a LOT less power.

If you can't afford any of these three cards then you should consider buying either a GTX 560 or a HD 6870.They are much slower then the cards above but they are still fast enough for modern games. The performance of those two cards is pretty much identical but the Radeon uses consumes power and produces less heat.

And the lowest end card that i think i should include in the list is the HD 7770.

It's not nearly as fast as the cards above but it is a bit cheaper.
