Online Gaming Problems

Hi, I play video games online on my PS3 and Xbox One. When I'm playing games online, my connection will separate from other player's connections, leaving me at a different point in the game. This started about 10 days ago. I've tried changing dns, using a wired connection, and forwarding ports, but none of that worked. My network speed is 4.3 mbps download and 435 kbps upload. My ping is 45 ms. I would appreciate it if someone could help me with this problem.

seriously what does this mean? do you lose connection to the game server? or to the internet? need to be detailed.

I don't lose connection to the servers or the internet, but my connection seems to be lagging behind other people, which makes them stand still and do nothing on my game and me do nothing on their game. I think this might be because of my internet speed dropping, because sometimes it's lower than it's supposed to be when that happens.
