I have always used a 5.1 speaker system to play games but I loved PUBG back in 2017-2019. It was basically mandatory to use a microphone to do well, so it is the one game I've used a headset for, and I met some nice people playing it.

I miss the experience.

I am looking for games that also have this 'vibe' - where a lot of people have mics and you can have a good laugh whilst playing.

I have heard good things about Rust and Lethal Company.

Any other suggestions?

Well, I added a ton of people on Steam because of CSGO competitive mode, but I played it back in 2012. It might be different nowadays, but back then, the higher you ranked, the chiller the people were.

Also, ARMA3 and SQUAD are great for mics, but you can either end up with a bunch of people just laughing their intestines out, or with a bunch of sour angry pseudo"vets" that role-play as if it was a real war scenario.

If you find one let me know. Honestly if I do any multiplayer on line its with the same group of guys + family.

My oldest son just got back on the PS-5 multiplayer and same old same old to cut throat for me.

My youngest is playing a anime something MMO on PC and so much more human between players.
