I have an ati Radeon x1300 256mb pcie card with win xp sp3. the motherboard has integrated graphics. I have tried with the onboard video active and disabled, same problem both ways. When the computer boots up the CMOS and the windows splash screen show up on my 2nd monitor only main monitor stays blank till windows welcome screen. Then 2nd monitor goes blank, only main monitor is recognized in display settings. 2nd monitor greyed out. click attach, screen goes blank for about 5 seconds, main monitor comes back on, 2nd monitor still greyed out. If i boot with only 2nd monitor attached, it comes up as my main screen, but then I cannot activate the main monitor. It's as though the card won't let more than 1 work at a time.

Solution
I found a temporary solution...I reinstalled the on-board video driver, set it as main display, and enabled the second (s-video) on the Radeon. Thereby only using one of the video outs on the Radeon, while still being able to use the 2nd monitor.
It would be nice to know if there is a proper way to fix this so the card actually worked the way it should.
