Only 1 stick of ram boots pc

So I just finished up my new pc but there is 1 problem, the pc will only boot with 1 stick if ram. And only that one stick of ram if I try the other it won’t boot up but I know it works because I had a friend test it out on his pc.

Motherboard: MSI x370 Gaming pro carbon
Ram: 2x4gb ddr4 3000mhz Vengeance LPX by Corsair

With the 2 ram sticks in the pc turns on, fans spinning but nothing displays on the monitor.
Any help would be appreciated

may be a bios bug with one stick of ram flash the bios with the newest bios file if it out of date.

in the bios turn off overclock see if both stick bost at 2100/2400 speed if they do you may have to bump the ram voltage up.

Did you have both RAM sticks plugged in fully (I know that sounds stupid)?
Are they different speeds (some mobos are finicky about that)
Are they different types of RAM (another stupid question)?

The bios has the latest update but it doesn’t change anything, I even tried the ram on different slots but only one of the work. Both of them came in the same package so they are not different

Try putting the ram in again. Make sure the clips on the side are fully closed and the stick is even
