Today i got myself a new monitor with 144hz.(Iiyama GB2488HSU-B2)
When i tried to set it to 144hz, it only showed up to 120hz in windows display.
I updated my drivers and disconnected my monitor multiple times.
It's currently connected with a HDMI Cable (the shop told me that it should support 1080p @144hz. the package shows that it supports 4k, not sure if it that tells you anything)
The reason why i got a hdmi cable is that my videocard doesn't have a display port but only 2 mini display ports. For some reason display>mini display port are really expensive here.
my videocard: radeon hd 7970 double dissipation
