When I OC my CPU to 4.2 GHz, the first 2 cores, 0 and 1, go to 4200MHz, but my last two, 2 and 3, like to stay at 1800MHz. This only happens when stressing with AIDA64. Its not thermal because my thermal margin still has 45C on it. Also, while idle, cores will jump from 1800 to 4200 randomly. Looking to know what is causing this, especially while stressing, while idle, I dont really care so much.

Also, I forgot to add, that sometimes while stressing it can be cores 0 and 1 that are at 1800, or it can be 3 and 4 at 1800. There doesn't really seem to be a problem. Also, voltage is at 1.4688, which should be plenty for 4.2 GHz.

Corroded....check the title...he listed the processor.

Dan, check your bios. See if you find any options for overclocking by all processors and not just by core. That should do it.

Well, sometimes 0 and 1 will be at 4.2GHz, and sometimes 2 and 3 will be at 4.2GHz while the others are at 1.8Ghz. In AMD Overdrive, I have all 4 cores set to 4200MHz, or 42x multiplier. Will that actually change anything if I mess with it in the BIOS?

Okay, so i went into my BIOS, and disabled AMD's automatic power assumtion thing, and set OC to manual. It still does it, but now all cores stay at what I set them to, until they go under load, to where they all drop down to 1.8GHz. I have no clue what could be doing this at this point.
