Only 2 out of 3 cores running

i have a amd phenom triple core processor on my laptop. (YEA I know it blows)

im using Everest and one of my cpu cores utilization is always 0%

the other two split it

It also says 2x (should be 3x) 2100 MHz under the motherboard......

DID one of my cores die?

How to i reactivate it?

check your BIOS settings to see if a core is disabled. While running a highly threaded program (like a newer game, benchmark, or productivity software) and see if it uses all available cores.
