only 3.97GB usable RAM out of 8GB installed Windows 10

i recently found out that my pc only uses aroud 4 gb out of 8, im running windows 10 64bit

you reseated the RAM sticks? does BIOs see 8GB and Windows only 4? or what?

I have the same problem as Hairyhamster but with me the bios says 4gb usable but there is 8gb installed 2x4GB
