Hello,

I got a new set of RAM and a new motherboard as gifts for Christmas and have set things up correctly so everything works. However, I can only use two of the four sticks of RAM I got. I've tested each stick individually to see if there were any dead sticks but they all work individually. Then I tested them together, starting with two but as soon as I got to three the computer would start up but it wouldn't boot up the BIOS or anything in general.

I have a Z170A MPower Gaming Titanium motherboard from MSI, four Corsair 8GB Vengeance LPX 2400MHz 1.20V RAM sticks, and the Windows 10 64-bit OS.

I'm looking through my motherboard's handbook and through online resources to get things working. Though any advice or help would be great.

Thank you very much

All four came in one package? Knowing more about the ram is nice like which model exactly or a partnr. The freeware tool cpu-z might give a partnr under the spd tab or look at the package they came in.

Set XMP to enabled with two and try adding more. Try upping the voltage to 1.25V (up to 1.35V should still be fine) for the ram with two sticks in and add more for testing if setting XMP isn't enough.
