specs... (I think... I'm doing this for a friend)
asus a7v (not ddr)
thunderbird 11xx mhz (not athlon)
sb live! 5.1 value
sorry but I dont know what speakers he has...
and a IBM 60gxp 40gb...
So... my friend has just bought this system and put it together all by himself... now to the problems....
In almost all games his sound disapears after a few minutes... all he can hear is a blippering and stuff... (like an old all braked up nintendo... like they sounds after a few too many kicks) He has tried everything... changing pci-slots and fallowing Creatives directives on their FAQ... (yes they have one for this problem..)
I know you guys know everything about computers (and internet pornography) so I'm laying all my (his) fate in you...!
Has anyone had a problem like this and solved it? The only thing he havent done is downloding the newest drivers from asus maybe that helps? what do you think?
Thx <--- I just saved my self a 0.00001 sec by not writing thanks...
I'm #1
so why try harder?
