Only getting 5mbps over Lan when i get 25mbps over 5g wifi.

I have a 5g router and get 5g speeds around 25mbps on my 5g capable devices,
I'm connected over lan but only getting 5mbps speeds, like it's 2.4ghz or something, my ethernet adapter is well capable of 1 gigabit speeds (Realtek® RTL8111H) and I'm using a Cat 5e rated cable, can anyone tell me what my problem is.

When you get 25mbps - you're checking this without going thru the router, or using WiFi connection to the router?

And 5g is still at very early stage, I'm not even sure devices and service are even released.

I'm doing this through a cat5e cable on my pc, my phone is connected over wifi but gets about 5x speed, 5g has also been around for a while in australia.
