[SOLVED] Only getting about 200 fps on Minecraft windows 10 Vs over 1000 on Java.

I recently switched to Minecraft windows 10 edition, and when I started playing, I got only 60 FPS. I then watched a tutorial on how to fix this, so I went into Minecraft windows 10 editions game files and fixed that. When I finished that, it did help, but then I was stuck at a max of 200 FPS, it felt almost like V-Sync, which I had previously turned off. I get an average of 1300 FPS on Minecraft Java edition, so I don't know why this is. I have an Intel i-9 9900k and an RTX 2080 TI.

Solution
MINECRAFT... 200fps(older Java version)
MINECRAFT... 1000+fps(updated Windows version)
I have an Intel i-9 9900k and an RTX 2080 TI.
DUDE... SIR/MADAM...

You're still getting over 120fps in the game, why does this matter? Plus, 1000+fps on a non Gsync or Freesync monitor equals a crap-ton of screen tearing, so you're likely using an adaptive sync monitor anyways.
It would be pretty crazy not to with that kind of hardware...

Do you know what happens when your PC renders frames higher than what your monitor can produce, combined with an adaptive sync monitor?
THEY ARE DISCARDED.
Assuming you have a 144hz adaptive sync monitor:
-that's 56 frames thrown away on Windows 10 Minecraft
-that's 1156 frames thrown away on Java...

-that's 1156 frames thrown away on Java Mincraft
Those extra numbers are superficial, and only serve e-peen purposes.
On a non adaptive sync monitor, the gpu will feed all those extra frames through the monitor, and it will fail spectacularly.

The Windows 10 version is using an updated graphics engine, thus the requirements are a little higher, so your results will be 'lower' than what you got in the Java version.

Solution
Ok, thank you. Can you explain to me what a non-Gsync or Freesync monitor is and what an adaptive sync monitor is and if I were to get a better 1440p monitor how much would my frames lower by?

Ah, adaptive sync is the general term for Gsync and Freesync. Instead of typing Gsync/Freesync over and over, using adaptive sync is simpler.

if I were to get a better 1440p monitor how much would my frames lower by?
Wait... you have that nice hardware, and are still running on 1080p?

1440p resolution contains about 78% more pixels than 1080p, so on paper, that should equate to about 78% less fps.
ON PAPER.
At 1080p a 2080Ti can't be full utilized, so the results will be a little different.

Yes, I am still running 1080p.... but can you give me an average on what my FPS will be on Minecraft windows 10 edition with a 1440p monitor? Also, me upgrading my monitor was really why I was asking the question about the 200 FPS cap I am experiencing. Also can you recommend me a good 1440p at least 144hz monitor preferably, but doesn’t have to be, curved? Budget would be a max of 500 dollars.
