Only half the RAM usable - Ryzen

System:

CPU - Ryzen 2600
RAM - Ballistix Sport LT BLS8G4D26BFSE 8 GB
Motherboard - MSI x370 Krait

I have bought an additional 8 GB RAM which is detectable but not usable.

Each RAM works separately. The RAM is installed in the correct channels. Latest Bios is installed. Removed the CPU, cleaned and checked for bent pins?

Is there anything left to try other than a new motherboard?

Solution
Enter BIOS, under RAM tab, set speed to 2133 timing Cas Latency to any number higher than 16 (17, 18), set the volt to 1.2V, save and exit.
Mostly, BIOS will use the lowest setting among two (2133 and 2400 BIOS will set the 2400 to 2133, CL 16 and CL 17 BIOS will use 17), if persist, use one RAM at the time, you'll have to remember or write down the SPD (MHz, timings, and voltage (1.2 or 1.35)), use the lowest.

If I clear CMOS will it still recognize the processor? I had to use a gen 1 processor to update the BIOS so that it would work with the 2600.

Both are Ballistix Sport LT BLS8G4D26BFSE 8 GB (DDR4, 2666 MT/s, PC4-21300, DR x8, DIMM, 288-Pin)

Didn't have any luck with this. I've also cleaned out the CPU socket with no joy. Looks like I'm stuck with 8GB RAM!
