My gpu galax gtx 1060 6gb oc dual fan was quite high when I played games for just a while, 85 deg Celsius when I played for only a few minutes. I suspected it was the case fans because the gpu has good cooling reviews. So can someone tell me whether where to put my 2 fans for better airflow to decrease the temps? I only have the rear and top (not front) side of the case to put it and which sides the fans (exhaust or intake) I should put it?Thank u.

Ouch. Yeah 2x Intake doesn't make much sense - as you're then relying on any holes/gaps in the case to remove the warm air!

Given hot air rises - the intake at the top is counterproductive for sure. The air naturally wants to be heading up/out there, but it's being pushed against by the intake.

I would expect 2x exhaust to give you the best results....
Second to that, it's unconventional, but the rear as intake/top as exhaust would be my next step/test. UNLESS the fan mount is directly above the rear mount..... as any air pulled in would be sucked out immediately, defeating the purpose.

Looks to be a 120/140mm at...
I meant normally cases have rear top and front sides for fans but my case only has the top and rear side of the case for fans so I was wondering how should the fans be placed and which side should have intake/ exhaust fans.

If you only have top + rear, I would assume optimal setups would be 2x exhaust - as that's typically what those mounting points are used for.

If that's what you have currently, and temps are less than ideal, you may have to simply use trial & error to find the optimal airflow.

If you can tell us what case you have specifically, it wouold be useful.

Looks to be a 120/140mm at the rear, and dual 120mm's mounting for the top.
That's a case designed for form over function, absolutely.

If you're only mounting 2x fans, I'd mount the rear as exhaust and one at the top - positioned nearer the front of the case as exhaust also.
