I was getting issues all day with WHEA 0x00000124 error. My PC would just shut down after few minutes of gaming and my CPU temps would only go up to 60c (not sure if that's a lot). I read a few posts saying reassemble everything since it could just be a loose wire somewhere.

Well I took it all apart and even checked for bent pins but it looked fine. A video said if I remove the stock CPU cooler I should reapply the thermal paste but I figured it was fine to just put back together since I've just build it 2 months ago.

Now it won't boot up at all. I've tried removing th GPU and M.2 SSD to boot into the Bios but the only thing getting power is the Mobo (little red light flashes). The CPU cooler fan and case fans won't even start up.

This is my first build and don't know what steps to take next. I have no spare parts lying around to see if one of the current parts is a problem.

Didn't overclock. CPU is intel i5 6500 and Mobo is Asus H110M-A/M.2. I plugged in everything again neither the case fans or CPU fan spin when I hit the power button.

Could the bluescreening that occurred today be symptoms of a bad CPU?

I don't know if I should purchase a cheap CPU just to see if that will boot it up or a cheap mobo just for the sake of knowing which part is causing the problem.

When I reassembled it twice I mistook the Power LED for the Power pins. Thanks for telling me about shorting it which caused me to take a closer look a the pins.
Now I just have to see if the blue screen error still occurs.
