Hello, whenever I go into device manger and look under the "Processors" tab, it only shows 4 cores/threads, when in reality, I have 4 cores and 4 threads. The 4 cores/4 threads do show up in Task Manager, Just not in device manager. Is there any way to fix this?

That's not a mistake. The core and thread counts are totals across the CPU, and since the i5 does not have hyperthreading enabled there's one thread per core. Thus, there are four total threads. If it were an i7 with two threads per core (4c/8t) you'd see 8 entries there.

My base clock is not .9Ghz... That's just all I was using of my CPU when I took the picture.. Have you used Task Manager in Windows 10? It shows that for everyone..

The whole point was to get them to show in device manager.. Not task manager.. Did you even read the post?

I figured it out.. My CPU doesn't have hyper threading. If it did though, the threads would show in device manager.

Those are not the threads showing up.. If they were, I would have 8 Core i5-6600k's because I have 4 cores and 4 threads..

Thank you! This explains it!

Thanks man. Sorry if I came off harsh, I just woke up.
