So i recently upgraded my internet to gigabit internet. My sisters computer (which i built recently) has the capability to download at around 920 Mbps which is close enough to a gigabit, but my pc is only averaging around 130Mbps, so i did a little research and found out my Ethernet port on my motherboard didn't have gigabit capabilities. So I got a gigabit Ethernet adapter Link( https://www.amazon.ca/AmazonBasics-1000-Gigabit-Ethernet-Adapter/dp/B00M77HMU0 ) But still im averaging around 130Mbps I have a cat7 Ethernet cord. I tested both the adapter and the Ethernet on my sisters computer and the speeds were well above mine. I've done plenty other types of troubleshooting and I don't know what to do at this point, Also I have the adapter plugged into a usb 3.0, if i plug it into a 2.0 i get speeds of around 30Mbps. When i check my ethernet connection the speed says 1.0 Gigabit. please help.
