Weirdly, out of nowhere, no one was able to connect to the internet anymore in the apartment, only my PC alone which is weird. We then tried to switch the router for a different one, didn't work. We switched it back to the official one, but now even my PC can't connect. What is going on?

Update: After renewing the connection on the official router again, it started working again after a while, but again, only one one computer which is mine, while on the other computers it doesn't work. Wifi seems to not work either.

This is likely a question best asked the apt management if you are getting internet from them..especially if it is delivered via ethernet.

If you had a cable modem and not a router this is what you would expect. The cable company only allows a modem that you have registered with them and then it only provides a single ip address. It will generally only give the ip address to the first device that connects.

Hard to say it sound like you have some kinda of restriction on the mac address that is on your PC. You could try the other router by plugging it into the current one. You should be able to set the mac address on the wan port to match the mac address on your pc. This will make the official device think it is your PC and not a...

Still I would call the apt IT guy and see if they have a suggestion before you try too much stuff.
