Only one core detected on Cpu-z & Cpuid-HW

I have a i7-3610qm which is 4 cores (8 threads) and its working fine, task manager has 8 cpu graphs but cpuid hardware monitor only tells me temperature of "Core #0" and then "package" .
So i downloaded cpu-z to find that it detects my cpu properly but at the bottom it sais "Cores: 1 ; Threads: 8".
Also checked msconfig and the core limiting thing is unticked so i suppose that even if all the cores are working both programs only detect one of them? Is this normal?
Also while i cant tell when this started i remember seeing the four cores in cpuid hw, so its not from factory...
And i think i have the latest drivers for everything.
Any ideas ??

try seeing the cores on AIDA 64 extreme

Aida64 detects all cores properly, so something wrong with the other two programs i guess.

yes some softwares don´t work properly . Aida is the best software out there in my opinion.
