Question Only One DIMM per Channel

I am planning to buy ASUS PRIME-B350-PLUS. But, in the official Asus website, they say due to AMD Ryzen Processor, memory frequencies higher than DDR4 2666 MHz, are only supported when using One DIMM per Channel. My question is what does it exactly mean?

I think they are referring to the fact that if you populate all 4 DIMM sots, you may not be able to boot with anything faster than 2666. Or if you do boot, it may not be totally stable.
