Question Only one M.2 SSD is shown in the BIOS ?

Hi - I've added a second M.2 SSD drive onto my Asus ROG Strix B450-F motherboard.
It is working fine in Windows but for some reason only one M.2 slot/drive is showing in the BIOS (slot 1 with the original SSD). Perhaps I'm missing something, but I thought that when I added a new drive, both would show in the bios separately?

With 2 drives installed, should I expect to see 1 M.2 SSD drive in the bios? or 2?

Ultimately, I'm trying to change my boot drive to the new M.2 SSD in slot 2.

How do I change the boot drive to the newly installed M2 SSD?

Puzzled.

Matt

Can you show a screenshot?

In UEFI mode you can set drive as boot drive only, if there is OS installed on it.
Empty drive is not bootable. Therefore you can not set as boot drive.
You have to either
install windows on it (have only single drive connected while installing windows)
or clone windows from old drive to new drive.
