Only one stick of ram is being recognized on my mobo...

Specs: ASUS Maximus VII Hero
Trident X Gskill 8Gb(only recognizing 4gb)
This is really affecting my computer anyone know how to to fix?

witch one there are in in the orange or black and if you could try the other to boot from .

I'm guessing you are using a 2x4gb set. Have you tried 1 stick at a time?

if it a new build make sure you have the newest bios file. make sure the cpu cooler if your using an evo 212 not on to tight and is crushing the cpu lid. the last is look for bent pins under the cpu.
