Question only one stick of ram is detected

i have a ryzen threadripper 12 core processor, a gigabyte x399 aorus pro motherboard and corsair vengeance rgb pro 2x16 gb of ram and its not being detected by my bios or windows but in cpu-z it shows i have both installed . i don't know how to fix this can someone please suggest anything

Do you have them in right slots according to MB manual ?

yes i also tried moving them in different slots and it work doesn't in slots 1 and 2, only 3 and 4. i also get the error code 16 when the sticks aren't in either 3 or 4 and ive tested both sticks and they both work

According to manual if 2 sticks are used they have to go to DDR4_2_2A and DDR4_4_2B slots.

yes thats where they are currently but when i was testing different slots they both worked in 3 and 4 but when one is in slot 2 it doesn't show up in the bios or the system properties in windows it only shows i have both installed in cpu-z and the icue rgb software showing both are installed but like i said the one in slot 2 isn't being detected.
