Question Only some keys work

I have a Toshiba satellite l500 1z1 with windows 10 pro 64 bit and only the number row above the alphabet keys work, before that most keys worked and some refused to work at the same time. I already tried cleaning dust, installing drivers etc but no luck at all. I use a USB keyboard and that setup is annoying because with a built in keyboard and an external keyboard and an external mouse, it kinda takes too much space and the screen is further than usual and it's not practical to use on the laptop (lol). Any help appreciated

If an external keyboard is working fine then you likely need to replace the built-in keyboard. You can first try reseating its connection at the motherboard, but it shouldn't have come loose from basic use or even transportation - still, a loose connection can result in this kind of thing, so it's worth checking before buying a new keyboard.
