Question Only system apps are connecting to internet

System apps and Chrome connect to internet. None of the apps I installed except Chrome is connecting to internet. Tried connecting via mobile hotspot and usb tethering.Firewall is disabled, No antivirus is installed, trid resetting the pc.
It's a new laptop everything was fine for few hours.
From the time it was working to the time I found out the problem I did these things

1. Update Windows
2. Bios got updated automatically when I restarted once
3. Installed graphics drivers.

Specifically: what installed apps are not/no longer connecting?

What error messages or pop-ups (if any) appear when connection to the internet fails?

Yes as @Ralston18 mentioned, please elaborate the error that you get when not connecting to the internet. Have you checked your firewall? You might have blocked Apps from accessing internet.

Make and Model of laptop. Is your laptop new? and/or was windows preloaded? The problem could be with your graphics drivers, I would have assumed with a computer preloaded with Windows, it also would have had the correct graphic drivers, but perhaps you meant you updated them. At this point you should roll back to your previous graphic drivers from Device Manager and see if that solves your problem. If you have System Restore configured, you could restore you system to a condition before you changed anything. Press Windows Symbol + S key, type in restore> click on System Restore and see if it is turned on (by default it is not).
