Only the best SSD of 2014 please

OK.. I'm thinking to change my current slow hard drive to a super speed solution. I asked for the best replacement and I was given an answer that either go for WD velociraptor or to a solid state drive. After looking into the differences between the two I became inclined to getting an SSD and because I am so speed maniac and love to get the top products of everything I started to think about buying the best ssd of 2014 (yes, the best and most current one). I want it best and excellent in every aspect, best in speed (the fastest), best in performance (the highest and most efficient) and if possible best in price 😀 but price is just a secondary matter to me.

OK and I read somewhere that the best ssd must not be less than 550 MB/s for both sequential reads and writes, and I believe this is really a pretty high speed. So can you help me please?

Note: If anyone is going to recommend a brand then please specify why it is the best so I get convinced. I do not want to buy things blindly.
