Only thing that works are the motherboard lights

When I turn it on the motherboard lights up but not else happens. It doesn't boot, beep, or activate the fans. I really have no idea what's going on.

Did you actually turn on the PC (i.e.: push power button)?

Yes I turned it on. Pressing the case power button turns the motherboard lights off for like half a second and then they turn on again.

Remove everything from the motherboard then try to boot it up.
