Guys I have a little problem, I created my own spell. Real weak
fireball with a touch of invisability with it to create a kind of
shoot and hide effect for taking potshots at creatures. The problem is
I have only used it once and I am now perminantly invisible!! I cannot
talk to anyone they just say whose there!! I really need help chaps
(But I guess I will get about 50 responces of Whose there!! I can see
that coming already!!) LOL

Any help will be greatly apprecited

Have you tried a 100 point Dispel on self spell? How about casting a 5 sec
invisibility spell? Sleeping for days to let the duration wear off?

Or, barring all else, if you're on pc, try the consol.

Thanks for your response Ed, I did try 100 point dispel, no joy, still
invisible. Just for note the invisibility effect is only supposed to be for
10 Seconds (All I could afford) But appears to be permanent. I slept for 24
hours and was totally invisible when I woke up. I guess this is a bug in the
game when you combine Fireball and Invisibility spells. I am going to return
to an earlier save game but I am a bit gutted as I thought I was onto a good
spell combo there!

Maybe there is a glitch when you combine an "on other" spell with an
"on self" spell.

Try switching to another spell, amulet, ring, etc. Switch to a weapon.
Let current spell cast out all its points. As far as i know, the diff
between "shadow" and invisibility is that you can fight with shadow without
revealing yourself. With invis-- you cannot. Famous line from "High Plains
Drifter", "Who ARE you!??"

Who's there?

:)

Try making yourself a potion of dispelling. Or perhaps you have the dispel
spell in your inventory.

first the obvious. Did you forget to put an expiry time on
the invisibility spell?
secondly: normally, invisibilty requires you to do nothing.and 'expires'
as soon as you use your
weapon. The spell for action is the chameleon
spell.
I have had the same 'combination' problem, and
I have a hunch, that it is the combination of the
the two spells that is the answer.

Invisibility is a no-action spell. By combining it with a
destruction spell like fireball, you must have impregnated it, so the
result became permanent

You use invisibility to avoid detection only. If you need
to do something while you are cloaked by invisibility,
you must use a chameleon spell. And it is better to
use them isolated from other spells
