opeating system format

hi. my pc have dual os i want to upgrade to windows 7 but when i install i can't format my c: drive even i can't see reboot option

Boot from the Windows 7 install disk and don't try to install, but instead go to the command prompt. If you want to delete everything on the drive and make it available to install Windows 7, type these commands into the command prompt box:

diskpart
list disk
select disk n (where n is the drive you want to clean)
clean

The reboot with the install disk in the optical drive and install.
