openelec kodi wifi password not being asked

I can see my SSID on my laptop, phone etc they can connect to the WiFi but when i use my device it doesn't give me the option to input password and it cannot connect, i have connected it before at at a couple of friends WiFi it worked. but at my own house WiFi it doesn't give the option

i have an asus vivo pc, wireless mosue and keyboard logitech

On your Asus - did you ditch Windows and installed OpenElec on top of it? You could just install Kodi as Windows app...

It seems VivoPC is using Realtek RTL8192 WiFi chip, and according to an article here, it should be supported in current Linux kernels. I don't know details about OpenElec' x86 image (if that is what you are using, though), you might want to post your question to OpenElec forums (or just restore Windows, and install Kodi there).
